Match Report Press Report

Chichester 2 Beat Trojans 2 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 70 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with George Porter winning through.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 86 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player and Player of the match, George Porter.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Callum Greasley, who over-turned a 1147 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.

If the Home No. 1 player, Calum Porter, had not had to withdraw after 1 game(s) the result could have been closer.
